About me
My Story
Fretted Instrument Service was established in 1990. At that time I was working at the American Institute of Guitar , Gibson Artist Relations and ESP guitars . I branched out and started taking on my own work and gradually developed a word of mouth business that over the decades has serviced the needs of thousands of professionals and their students as well as a hand full of collectors.
After working in Northern New Jersey for 29 years I recently relocated to Western North Carolina just north of Asheville .

One time when going "sideways" is a good thing.
I've had the pleasure of working on some fine classical guitars .
Recently in for some back cracks and French polishing . Another fine instrument.
This little 40's Martin came in for a neckset and some crack work a few months ago. Shipped in from Bklyn. N.Y.
