Welcome to Al Watsky Fretted Instrument Service
A well adjusted instrument gives you the response you need.
You chose your instrument for its sound, my job is to adjust and regulate it so that it plays in tune and responds in a way that allows you to make your music.
About me
My Story
Fretted Instrument Service was established in 1990. At that time I was working at the American Institute of Guitar , Gibson Artist Relations and ESP guitars . I branched out and started taking on my own work and gradually developed a word of mouth business that over the decades has serviced the needs of thousands of professionals and their students as well as a hand full of collectors.
After working in Northern New Jersey for 29 years I recently relocated to Western North Carolina just north of Asheville .
